Business Development Lead

Location: Singapore (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: SGD $5,000-$6,000/month + performance-based bonuses

About Werable

Having established a strong foundation of core products and partnerships in Singapore, Werable is now focused on scaling its direct-to-consumer business and testing international markets where awareness of inclusive fashion is growing. The next phase of growth involves strengthening B2C sales, securing strategic partnerships, and exploring collaborations across industries such as retail, sports, and assistive technology.

As Business Development Lead, you will play a critical role in identifying market opportunities, driving partnerships, and ensuring that Werable's business strategy aligns with its vision for growth and impact.


Role Summary

The Business Development Lead will be responsible for expanding Werable’s market reach by securing partnerships, increasing sales channels, and identifying opportunities for international growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in business development, sales, and stakeholder management within fashion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product & Business Validation

  • Validate product-market fit and refine target audience through customer discovery interviews.
  • Gather insights from potential customers and partners to validate pricing models, usability, and scalability.
  • Work closely with the design team to align business strategy with product development.

2. Market Expansion & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for global expansion in North America, Europe, or Asia.
  • Identify and engage with retailers, distributors, and corporate partners to establish new sales channels.
  • Lead the expansion into international markets by researching consumer needs, regulations, and local adaptations.
  • Secure partnerships with multi-brand concept stores or organizations to increase product adoption.


Key Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales in fashion or assistive tech.
  • Strong network in B2B sectors, including fashion or sport retail.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a lean, cross-disciplinary team.


Good to Have:

  • Background in supply chain and product commercialization.
  • Strong network in wearable or assistive tech, smart textiles.

We seek a Marketing Lead to drive our growth strategy and establish Werable as a global leader in adaptive fashion.

Role Summary

The Marketing Lead will oversee Werable’s marketing strategy, and customer engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for a creative marketer with strong storytelling skills, digital expertise, and experience in the fashion sector. The Marketing Lead will focus on driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and product positioning in Singapore and global markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Positioning & Content Strategy

  • Develop and implement a brand strategy that differentiates Werable from mainstream adaptive fashion brands.
  • Create compelling brand narratives, campaigns, and product storytelling to communicate Werable’s value beyond price.
  • Strengthen Werable’s thought leadership in accessibility, sustainability, and innovation through targeted PR and content strategies.

2. Digital Marketing

  • Oversee Werable’s website, email marketing, SEO, and digital ad campaigns to drive B2C and B2B engagement.
  • Manage and expand Werable’s social media presence to build an engaged community.

3. Customer Insights & Growth Marketing

  • Use data-driven marketing techniques to understand customer behavior, improve product-market fit, and refine messaging.
  • Establish customer feedback loops through surveys, focus groups, and social listening to optimize user experience.
  • Develop promotional campaigns to improve perceived value and encourage repeat purchases.

Key Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, branding, or growth strategy in fashion or lifestyle brands.
  • Ability to develop and execute brand positioning and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong expertise in social media and content marketing.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in D2C marketing and e-commerce strategy.
  • Background in fashion PR and media relations.
  • Knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and paid advertising.
